What's new

• •Explore: A new home screen that opens on what is happening near you, with the weekend's picks, a map teaser, and regions to browse. Search a community or use your location to jump straight to its events, classes or exhibits.
• •Follow Updates: When a place you follow publishes new events, a promotion or an announcement, it lands in your inbox. New events from the same place on the same day are grouped into one line with a preview of each. Push notifications arrive as one morning and one afternoon digest, and you can choose which kinds you want in Settings.
• •Search and Filters: Events, classes, exhibits, announcements and promotions now have a search bar and a filter button. Narrow a list by tag, see how many posts match, and switch between your community and what is nearby from the same bar.

• •Explore: A new home screen that opens on what is happening near you, with the weekend's picks, and regions to browse.
• •Bus and Ferries: Browse bus routes and ferry sailings throughout the province, grouped by community and searchable by town, route number, or street.
• •Offline Schedules: Bus and ferry times are saved to your phone, so they open straight away and still work when you have no signal. Be sure to open them once before travelling to a new community so that your phone can download them for the first time.

• •Quick Jump: Use the button in the bottom corner of your community dashboard to jump straight to any section.
• •Visitor Information: Find visitor centres on the map and on your community page, with local information, links, and directions.
• •Map Filters: Pick more than one thing at once and save the mix as your default so it's ready for you next time you open the map.

• •Classes: Explore classes for sports, recreation, and various other skills and activities.
• •Exhibits: View any art or museum exhibits that are currently active in your community.

• •User experience: Faster start to using the app, bypass login screens unless needed for posting or customization features. Simply select your home community and have access to the latest information!

• •BC Ferries: Sold-out sailings now show "Sailing full". A BC Ferries location fallback is displayed when live tracking is down. A copper badge that flags active service notices.
• •Nearby communities: Community dashboard now shows a nearby-communities card. Tap one to switch to it.
• •Feedback: A feedback form is now built into the community dashboard.
• •Styling: Various changes for improved user experience.
