Please Register Below. Join us for an afternoon with the candidates for Bowen Island Municipal Council and Island’s Trust, and hear their perspectives on the issues shaping our community before you vote. Submit your candidate questions online to editor@bowenislandundercurrent.com or in-person at the Library before September 15th for the chance to have your question asked. This event will be recorded and shared online afterwards for those who are unable to attend live. Invitations will be sent to all candidates when the official nomination period ends on September 11th. Please reach out to info@bowenlibrary.ca if you have any questions. Register below. If registration is full, a waitlist will become available as spots open up. Waitlist users receive an email whenever a spot opens up, and it is first come, first served to claim that spot by registering on this page. Details for Registrants: Please come early. Parking is limited, carpooling is encouraged. If this event is full, late arriving registrants may lose their spot to drop-in attendees. 1:30-2:00 pm: Candidates Meet and Greet. Candidates have been invited to also come early to meet and chat with the public in the Community Centre Living Room. Please email us if you (or any guests you registered) can no longer attend. This opens up spots for others to attend.
