Since 1979, Banff Centre Mountain Film and Book festival has been one of the largest, most prestigious mountain festivals in the world. Hot on the heels of the Festival, held every fall, the Banff Centre Mountain Film Festival World Tour hits the road. With stops in more than 40 countries, the Banff World Tour celebrates achievements in outdoor storytelling and film-making worldwide. You can be a part of the adventure here at ArtSpring, where we offer a carefully curated package of top films from this year’s festival, including award winners and audience favourites. A wonderful family experience. This year, we’re thrilled to present the festival’s Moraine program. A group of friends shreds serious powder in Japan. A man travels all around England to set up his log hives for native honeybees. Adaptive mountain bikers ride the roots and rocks of trail biking, navigating their disabilities with attitude in the thriving rural Vermont riding community. Twin brothers from Indonesia climb their way from training walls in Jakarta to the Climbing World Championships. A couple kiteskis, climbs, and paddles the remote coastline of Baffin Island over a 69-day adventure. With adrenaline-pumping action shots and characters that defy expectations, the Moraine program takes audiences around the world and inspires all to get out there.
