Chat, Coffee and Connect: A Place to Be Heard When was the last time someone really listened to you? We live in a remarkable age. With a few taps on a screen, we can find an answer, order a meal, connect with someone across the world, or ask artificial intelligence to help us solve a problem. Technology has made our lives faster, easier, and more productive. But there is one thing technology cannot replace: the human heart. A machine can answer a question, but it cannot look into our eyes and recognize that something is weighing heavily on our hearts. It can process information, but it cannot sit beside us, listen, and simply say, “You are not alone.” Recognizing this growing need for connection, Discovery Community Church has introduced a simple community initiative called “Chat, Coffee and Connect.” The idea is simple: come, have a coffee, chat, and connect. You don’t need a special reason to come. You don’t need a problem to solve. And you certainly don’t need to have all the answers. In a world where we can be digitally connected yet personally isolated, Chat, Coffee and Connect is an invitation to return to something beautifully simple: human connection. Free to attend. Come. Chat. Have a coffee. Connect. You are not alone.
