Ages 55+ Registration fee $33.33 MONTHLY FITNESS CENTRE MEMBERSHIP MONTH: DECEMBER AGE: SENIOR (AGES 55+) Terms and Conditions: Memberships • Memberships are valid for only the individual who purchased it. • Use of the facility is limited to operating hours. • Monthly memberships will be pro-rated weekly based on purchase date. • Members are responsible for using the equipment safely and following posted guidelines. • Bowen Island Municipality reserves the right to restrict or refuse access if safety rules are violated. Cancellation and Refunds • Monthly memberships are non-refundable once the month has begun, unless cancelled within the same day of purchase or for a medical reason with a doctors note. • No refunds are provided for unused passes. Code of Conduct • Members must treat staff, other members, and gym property with respect. • Harassment, inappropriate language, or unsafe behavior is strictly prohibited. • Members are responsible for keeping shared spaces clean and returning equipment to its designated area. • Failure to adhere to the Code of Conduct may result in suspension or termination of membership without refund. Liability • Members acknowledge that the use of gym facilities involves inherent risks, including potential injury. • Bowen Island Municipality is not liable for injuries, accidents, or the loss or theft of personal belongings. • Members are encouraged to consult a healthcare provider before beginning any fitness program. • Members agree to use the equipment and facilities at their own risk. Youth • Youth aged 16-18 may use the fitness centre freely. • Youth aged 13-16 may use the fitness centre when accompanied by a parent or guardian aged 19+, or after completing a free Fitness Centre Orientation. Please talk to front desk staff about organizing. • Memberships for youth ages 13-16 are only available for purchase in-person or over the phone.
