Whistler Public Library and Certified Financial Planner Bo Banner invite you to a new series, Finance Foundations for Whistler Entrepreneurs. This series will offer practical, actionable financial education to local business owners and entrepreneurs (for free!). Our first topic of the fall will be The Compensation Conundrum: Salary or dividends?, presented on Tuesday, September 29. Our second topic will be Retiring Right: Understanding the taxation of retirement income, presented on Tuesday, October 27. Email publicservices@whistlerlibrary.ca to sign up for these sessions! About the presenter, Bo Banner, CFP®: My time in professional sports taught me the value of discipline, teamwork, and clear strategy, which I bring into my work as a financial planner. I live in Whistler, BC, with my amazing wife, where we embrace the adventure of life together. When I’m not helping clients, you can find me coaching youth basketball, riding my snowmobile, or enjoying a strong morning coffee. If you're serious about improving your financial life, I’d be happy to help build a plan that works for you.
