GARY LEWIS Plantsman | Author | Speaker | Nursery Owner Known for his beautiful, information-packed yet accessible talks and his award-winning nursery Phoenix Perennials, Gary Lewis is a plantsman that will excite and inspire gardeners of all levels and professionals across the green industry on a variety of topics. His new encyclopedia, The Complete Book of Ground Covers, is a textbook for the temperate gardening world on this most useful and important group of plants. Join us on October 25th when Gary will introduce you to a wide range of spring-flowering bulbs and how to grow them with a mix of Power Point and show and tell. Bulbs are a diverse, fascinating and easy-to-grow group of plants. Planting them in the fall for spring blooms can take your garden and containers to the next level offering beauty and colour when perennials and shrubs are still dormant. Bulbs can also be tucked into small spaces, planted under ground covers, added to mixed containers, and planted between existing plants to add extra layers of interest.
