At this event, the library’s books are real people, and reading means having a conversation. Instead of checking out a traditional novel, you are invited to “borrow” a fellow community member for an afternoon of one-on-one dialogue. Join us to “read” their lived experiences, passions, and perspectives by simply sitting down together. It’s a unique chance to ask questions, listen, and turn the pages of someone else’s life in a welcoming and respectful space. Interested in becoming a “book” on our shelves? If you are interested in sharing your story, come at 1:00 PM for a friendly introduction. Learn how the process works, ask questions, and see if being a “human book” is something you’d enjoy. No commitment needed — everyone is welcome!
