Drop in to speak with an Outreach and Housing Worker from Lookout Housing & Health Society. Get support if you are experiencing homelessness, precarious housing, or who may need additional assistance navigating community and government supports. Get help with a variety of questions and referrals, including: Connecting individuals with BC Housing and navigating available rental and housing supports Assisting with applications for rental subsidies and other housing programs Supporting individuals in accessing income assistance and other government benefits Assisting with applications for programs such as Canadian Pension Plan and Old Age Security Connecting residents with affordable housing options and housing resources Providing referrals and connections to medical and health-related services Connecting residents with recreational and community programs Supporting individuals who may need emergency shelter or other immediate housing resources Assisting with transportation planning and connections to services on the North Shore, including transportation to appointments where appropriate Helping residents identify and navigate other community, social, and government resources based on their individual circumstances
