Queers & Beers goes Curling

It was so much fun to see some of you at Beach Fire and we're so excited to have gotten started on this year's activities! This year, in addition to meeting at Beach Fire every second month, we're going to go on little bonus field trips in the alternating months! They're a little different in the sense that the space isn't reserved for us, but we have been invited to do a full takeover! Additionally, they cost a little and need booking in advance to fully participate (though it's free to come hang out!). For our first field trip, we're going curling on Sunday, October 25th. Everyone is encouraged to come by, whether they are curling or not, as the Curling Club Bar/Lounge area offers excellent viewing of the ice. The club will provide all the equipment and some on-ice instruction before helping the group get in teams for a mini game. Curlers are asked to bring a clean pair of runners, and wear some warm comfortable layers.
