Student $35 | Child $25 Songs For A Winter’s Night celebrates the enduring legacy of Gordon Lightfoot with an evening of timeless, familiar melodies and holiday charm. Drawing from every era of Lightfoot’s remarkable catalogue, the show weaves together songs that evoke the beauty, stillness and spirit of a Canadian winter. From beloved classics to reflective gems, each selection has been thoughtfully chosen to complement the season and the landscape of a winter evening—as only Gordon Lightfoot’s music can. Oliver Swain & Dylan Stone are two of British Columbia’s most accomplished and experienced songwriters and performers. Following the graceful passing of Gordon Lightfoot in May 2023, Swain and Stone gathered a talented cast of musicians to create a concert celebrating Gordon’s extraordinary life and music. The response was overwhelming, leading to the formation of The Legacy of Lightfoot. Together they share numerous award wins and nominations, including honours from the JUNO Awards, Western Canadian Music Awards, and Canadian Folk Music Awards. What began as a heartfelt celebration has grown into a captivating theatre production, connecting audiences with the warmth, storytelling and timeless spirit of one of Canada’s greatest songwriters.
