Celebrate your furry, feathered, or scaled friend in this fun and creative class all about turning a favourite pet photo into a beautiful handmade portrait. Students will learn how to capture the personality and features of their pet using a combination of expressive watercolour and detailed pen-and-ink techniques. This class will guide students step by step through the process of sketching their pet, building soft layers of watercolour, and adding definition, texture, and character with ink. Along the way, students will explore techniques for fur, feathers, eyes, markings, and shading, while learning how to balance loose painterly colour with crisp line work. Perfect for beginners and experienced artists alike, this workshop is a welcoming space to experiment, learn new skills, and create a meaningful portrait of a beloved companion. All Supplies included
