A 6-Week Pottery Handbuilding A Six-Week Hand-Building Pottery Course Bring your imagination to life in Whimsy in Clay, a six week hand building pottery course designed for anyone who loves creating charming, unique pieces from clay. Over the course of six weeks, you’ll learn the fundamentals of hand building while creating a collection of whimsical pottery pieces, including a lidded vessel, a decorative trinket dish, and your choice of a mug or cup. We’ll explore techniques such as shaping, joining, adding texture and 3D details, and creating your own one-of-a-kind designs. This is a relaxed environment where there’s plenty of room to experiment and let your personality shine. Think mushrooms, flowers, creatures, moons, cottages, magical details and anything else your imagination can dream up! Whether you’re completely new to pottery or have some experience with clay, Whimsy in Clay is all about slowing down, getting your hands dirty, and creating something wonderfully your own.
