Whether you’re a seasoned writer or just starting out, this group is for you. Adults, youth, and teens are welcome here, to share and give constructive feedback on each other’s writing in this positive and supportive environment. Bring your prose, poetry, or other writing and be part of this fun and welcoming group building a creative network of writers here on Bowen Island. About Our Facilitator This group is led by volunteer facilitator, Colleen Addison. Colleen Addison has a BA in English, an MA in English and Creative Writing, an MLIS in library science, and a PhD in health information. After all this, she just got really sick. She now lives, writes and heals on Bowen Island. She’s written most of her life, but recently re-started taking it seriously. She’s been published in newspapers, and lit mags such as Painted Pebble Lit Mag, River Teeth, Halfway Down the Stairs, and Flash Fiction Friday; she’s also jointly written a book, Love at First Write, coming out on Amazon in fall of 2025, as well as a few other books, completed and not.
