An announcement is a post that shares news or an update from a local organization. Announcements are for things that are not a dated event or a deal, such as a notice, an update, or an urgent alert.
An announcement carries a title, a message, and any images or links. Some are featured at the top or highlighted so the most important ones are easy to spot.
The most urgent announcements are marked as emergency alerts. They stand out so you notice them right away, and you can choose to receive only these in an emergency-only notification mode.
