Launch Yourself into a New Year of Writing Have a writing project that needs a fresh start? Whether you're working on fiction, nonfiction or family history, this four-part workshop will help you reconnect with your manuscript, generate new ideas and build momentum for a productive year of writing. Led by experienced writers and instructors Jeanette Taylor and Margo McLoughlin, the sessions will explore what makes stories memorable, with a particular focus on bringing characters to life. Through guided discussions, practical writing exercises and opportunities to share work with fellow writers, participants will gain fresh perspectives and renewed enthusiasm for their projects. The workshop offers a supportive, collaborative environment, with resource materials and between-session guidance included. Workshop Details Format: Choose to attend either in-person or online Dates: Sundays, January 10, 24, 31 and February 7 & 21 (5 sessions) Time: 1:00–3:30 p.m. Location: Museum at Campbell River (limited Zoom participation available) Cost: $195 + GST Class size is limited to encourage discussion and participation. Google Classroom will be used to share work. Online sessions will be live video streaming using Owl.
